💻 Format: Online
👥 Speakers: James Polansky, Heather Rhodes, Yuliya Kosko
Join us on 26th February at 17:00 GMT for an engaging discussion about alternative British education with three distinguished experts in the field. This conversation is prompted by the introduction of the newly announced VAT rate on private school fees and recent changes to the “non-dom” rules. These changes are anticipated to have a significant impact, with research by Henry & Partners and New World Wealth predicting that a record high of 9,500 millionaires are likely to leave the UK by the end of 2025.
As a result, we aim to provide insights into how to ensure that these new regulations do not compromise the quality of education your children receive. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain valuable perspectives on navigating the evolving educational landscape in the UK.

Our first speaker is Yuliya Kosko. Yuliya taught in a London school before co-founding EducAd Consulting, a bespoke educational advice consultancy, which has helped many students get into top British universities. Having worked with international high-net-worth families over many years, Yuliya can navigate a family through all their education questions from early years to university in the UK and abroad.

An expert in high quality online education, Heather Rhodes achieved tremendous academic success as a founding Principal of Harrow School Online, the world’s most academically successful online school, where pupils achieved 78% A*-A in 2023 and got accepted into top universities worldwide. Heather is the founder of Highgrove Online School, a flagship school for ambitious British and international pupils aiming to attend top universities.

James Polansky, CEO of Globeducate for the UK and Portugal. James graduated from the University of Cambridge with a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics. Before transitioning to education, he spent 10 years working in investment banking for firms such as Citigroup and Barclays Capital. His educational career includes serving as a Meridian Committee member for the Association of Teachers of Mathematics (UK) and the UK Mathematical Association, as well as holding positions such as Executive Head of a group of schools and Head of a School. In addition to his current role at Globeducate, James is an Independent Schools Inspector in the UK and serves as Chair of the ISA (Independent Schools Association) London West Division, representing 120 member schools.
