International GCSE

2 exams taken at the end of the course
Physics Paper 1: Core content (120 minutes). 61.1% of the total International GCSE.
Physics Paper 2: All content (75 minutes). 38.9% of the total International GCSE.
Please note: Students will develop knowledge and understanding of experimental skills through the context of the physics they are learning. Experimental skills are assessed through written examinations.

Progression

Physics is one of our compulsory subjects for full time students, alongside Biology, Chemistry, Maths, English Literature and English Language. Pupils gaining a 7 or above in GCSE Physics will be eligible to study Physics at A level.
