Our year 13 leavers have achieved an outstanding set of A level results, including nearly 50% A* grades, outstanding university offers and a best in the world OPLA award, which positions Highgrove Education as the world’s most academically successful online school.
The most common grade awarded to our pupils was A*, with nearly half of all grades on our group class programmes achieving the highest A* distinction. Almost 80% were awarded at either A* or A, which compares extremely favourably to the national average of 28.5% A*-A. Impressively, almost 90% of all results on our group class programmes were at A*-B, reflecting outstanding achievement across the board.
Special commendation goes to one of our pupils for achieving a ‘best in the world’ OPLA award (Outstanding Pearson Learner Award) for his Business A level from our examining body, Pearson Edexcel. He did this by obtaining full marks in all four units of the qualification.
These excellent A level results have translated into a positive set of university outcomes with pupils set to take up places at a range of world leading institutions in courses as diverse as mathematics, psychology, geography and dentistry.

As our pupils receive their GCSE results today, we are delighted to celebrate their remarkable achievements. We extend our warmest congratulations to every pupil. Our most common result at GCSE was a 9, and on our online group programmes, 79% of all results were a grade 8 or 9.
