Daniel Spear
Daniel Spear has taught Computer Science for the last 12 years, both in the UK and internationally. He has worked as a Head of Department since 2018. He has extensive experience of helping GCSE and A level students to achieve their target grades, and often exceed them.
Mr Spear graduated with a first class honours degree in IT and Computing from the University of South Wales and obtained his PGCE in the Cardiff Metropolitan University.
Mr Spear is currently Leader of Digital Systems, Skills and Standards at Hawthorn High School and is excited to be able to start and lead the Computer Science course at Highgrove.
He lives in Cardiff with his wife, his 2 children and their rabbit Willow.

I can't recommend Dan for Computer Tuition enough ! My daughter was really struggling with the subject and was completely confused and stressed over it. Dan really helped her. He was incredibly patient and supportive ( my daughter is very shy at online lessons) and went over the curriculum at her pace ensuring that she really understood the lessons. He made the sessions engaging and fun and was available to offer support via email etc. in between lessons. I'm really grateful to him for all his support with her.
I found the tuition from Mr Spear really god. He was helpful and knew his stuff and going through the exam papers was definitely good. I wouldn't have felt as confident without his help.
