Alma Marinoiu

Alma Marinoiu has taught Maths and Physics for over ten years across various age groups. She has worked as a Maths and Science teacher in secondary schools in Essex and held several tutoring roles, from worldwide residential positions to online tutoring roles. Ms Marinoiu has also worked as a GCSE and A Level examiner.

Ms Marinoiu graduated with a first class Masters degree in Astrophysics from University College London in 2011, then went on to complete her PGCE with the Institute of Education in London. During her time at UCL she worked as an astronomy demonstrator, conducting night observations utilising a refracting telescope, and was a peer mentor to first year undergraduate students. Ms Marinoiu splits her time between the UK and Romania, and lives with her husband, son and dog, Bibi.
