Heather Clements-Wheeler has been teaching for over twenty-five years including ten years in online education. She has been a subject leader for twenty years for key stages 3-5 in Geography and Travel and Tourism and served as an assistant head of year for five years.
Heather has also written for numerous well-known GCSE revision webpages. She works for five exam boards in setting and assessment roles in five subject areas including geography and is a Chair of Examiners. She is a founding fellow of the chartered college of teaching and works as one of their leadership assessors.
Heather has seven degrees including a BA and PGCE in Geography and an MSc in Meteorology and Climatology from the University of Birmingham. She is currently completing her third masters at the University of Cambridge specialising in online geography assessment.
She travelled widely in her younger years and has visited Australia, New Zealand and Antarctica. Heather is married with three stepchildren, and two greyhounds who keep her fit! Having been born with Cystic Fibrosis, Heather is now the recipient of genetic modifiers and is the living embodiment of the importance of scientific advancements!
