Kate Fletcher has over a decade of experience as a maths teacher and pastoral leader across secondary and sixth form education. She has held senior leadership roles including Assistant Head (Pastoral) and Acting Head of Sixth Form, and has held responsibility for safeguarding, student wellbeing, and academic outcomes across large cohorts.
Ms Fletcher specialises in GCSE and A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, with a particular strength in breaking down complex concepts into clear, structured steps. Her teaching is highly adaptive; she quickly identifies how each student learns and tailors her approach accordingly, ensuring that every learner can access and understand the material at their own pace. Alongside her teaching, Ms Fletcher brings a strong commitment to inclusive education. As an autistic educator, she combines lived and professional experience to support neurodivergent students, helping them build confidence and develop strategies that work with, rather than against, how they think and process information.
Ms Fletcher is known for her patience, attention to detail, and instinctive awareness of when a student is struggling, often adapting her explanation before they even need to ask. She places equal importance on wellbeing and performance, supporting students beyond the classroom through exam preparation, confidence-building, and ongoing guidance.
