Paul Ryan has taught Maths and Further Maths A level, IB, GCSE, and IGCSE for over 25 years. Recent roles have included teaching at Stonyhurst College, Ardingly College, and Magdalen College School, Oxford. At Stonyhurst, he was responsible for half of all the A*s at A level in the entire College. Mr Ryan has been responsible for UK Maths Trust challenges, and has always enjoyed preparing students for these.
Mr Ryan graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford, with a degree in Mathematics, and took his PGCE at Cambridge. Outside the classroom, Mr Ryan has directed Model UN Conferences at two schools. He is a keen musician who used to manage major orchestral concerts, and is still a keen chorister, singing with his wife in Blackburn and Manchester Chamber Choirs.
