Stephen Ball

Stephen Ball has been teaching Business Studies and Computer Science at GCSE, BTEC and A level for over 25 years, leading departments as Head of Computer Science and Head of Business Studies. He additionally has experience tutoring in Economics and has also mentored and supported both PGCE students and new teachers.

Mr Ball holds a BA Hons degree in Business Studies and a PGCE from University of Roehampton, London. Prior to entering the teaching profession, he worked as a Computer Programmer. He’s a keen photographer and is a Licentiate Member of the Royal Photographic Society. He’s travelled extensively, plays and teaches bass guitar, enjoys football, cricket and rugby, and lives in the city of Colchester, Essex with his wife Jill and two teenage daughters.
