Preparing for A levels Results Day – Understanding Clearing, Gap Year, and Re-sits
Join Highgrove Online School for an informational webinar designed to guide students and parents through the key decisions that follow A level results day in the UK. We’ll explain how the UCAS Clearing process works, who it’s for, and how to approach it with confidence if your results aren’t what you expected — or if your plans have changed. Whether you’re looking for a university place or just exploring options, we’ll help you understand the timelines, strategies, and support available.
We’ll also discuss how to make the most of a Gap Year, from gaining work experience and volunteering to travelling or pursuing specialist electives. Learn how Highgrove supports students in making a Gap Year both enriching and productive, including earning extra UCAS points with the EPQ or preparing for university admissions tests. Finally, if a re-sit is your next step, discover how to enrol as a private candidate and what your options are for retaking and reapplying to university.
Spaces are limited, so be sure to reserve your place today. See you there, and best of luck with your results!
