GCSE Maths Taster Lesson
Our Taster Lessons are live events that give you the opportunity to meet our expert teachers and see what teaching and learning is like at our ground-breaking online school. Our Maths Teacher, Mr Harry Williams, will lead an interactive lesson that will give you an idea of what it’s like to study his subject at GCSE and will offer you the opportunity to ask any questions that you have about Maths GCSE and/or teaching and learning at Highgrove Online School during our Q&A.
Harry Williams has taught Maths and Further Maths for over ten years, including working with the Highgrove Education team at Harrow School Online, where in 2023 his pupils achieved 90% A*-A in Maths A level and 100% A*-A in Further Maths A level.
Prior to this he taught at Abingdon School where he was responsible for their UKMT challenges and Sixth Form Maths Enrichment. Mr Williams is a keen advocate for the power of technology to enhance and indeed transform pupils’ enjoyment and understanding of Mathematics.
Mr Williams graduated with a First class Masters degree in Mathematics from the University of Sussex in 2013, then went on to complete his PGCE with the University of Reading.
