Progression to University

A Business A level can be useful for a range of university courses, including business and management, economics, accounting and finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship. It can also provide valuable insights for fields like law, and social sciences. While not normally a strict requirement, a Business A level can broaden your academic base and equip you with transferable skills. Pupil wanting to study Business or Management at university are advised to take a quantitative subject such as Maths as part of their subject selection.

Please note, some universities consider A level Accounting and A level Business Studies to be overlapping and will not consider this combination when taken as part of a profile with three A level subjects.
