Liz Howell has taught Biology, Chemistry and Physics from Primary to GCSE level and Chemistry and Biology at A level since 2016, initially in a secondary school and a sixth form college and more recently online. She holds a BSc degree in Chemistry with Biomolecular Science in 2012. After graduating from university she worked in the pharmaceutical analysis industry for a number of years before completing her PGCE qualification, specialising in teaching Chemistry. She additionally completed a course which qualifies her to teach Physics up to GCSE level.
Mrs Howell is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and has volunteered with the society on various outreach projects. She additionally has experience working in content creation and as an examiner for OCR Cambridge Technical Applied Science. Mrs Howell is keen to share her enthusiasm of science, and to make sessions as engaging and enjoyable as possible by using everyday examples to explain more complex ideas. She lives in Cambridgeshire with her husband, daughter and their dog Talulah.
