Paul Freeman has taught mathematics and further mathematics for nearly 25 years. In 2024, over 75% of his A level mathematics students achieved grades A*-B, and 100% achieved A*-B in A level further mathematics.
Mr Freeman graduated from university in 1997 with a first-class honours degree in mathematics, and subsequently completed his PGCE in 2000. In addition to teaching Mr Freeman has been an examiner for the UK Key Stage 2 National Curriculum Tests (SATs) and GCSE mathematics and statistics. He has also authored many revision notes and questions for various publications, both in print and online.
Mr Freeman likes to provide simple, but realistic analogies of how mathematics can be used in the real world, being particularly keen on making full use of calculator technology and graphing software to help explain and solve problems. Living in a rural area on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border, Mr Freeman enjoys football, cricket and snooker.
